Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026 · Pilot release
1. Use of the service
EasyOrg helps people find community organizations and their events, and helps the people who run those organizations publish events, reach their members and organize their work. By using the site or creating an account you agree to use it lawfully, to represent only organizations you are authorized to represent, and not to misuse, probe or disrupt it.
2. Accounts and age
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Children under 18 may only appear as managed profiles under an adult's account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One person may be an editor of several organizations.
3. Listings we build and the right to be removed
We publish short, factual pages for organizations found in public records (the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations and information the organization has already made public). These pages are marked as community listings that are not yet claimed. Any authorized representative of an organization may claim its page, correct it, or have it removed. Use the links on the page or write to hello@ezorg.email. We honour removal requests and keep the organization off the directory afterwards.
4. What you contribute
You may suggest organizations, enter events, upload flyer images, and declare that you are a supporter, member or board member of an organization. You promise that what you contribute is accurate as far as you know, that you have the right to share it (including any image), and that it contains no personal data about other people beyond what is already on a public flyer. We review contributions before they appear, and may edit, decline or remove any of them. Declaring a membership or board role you do not hold is a misuse of the service.
You keep ownership of what you contribute. You grant EasyOrg a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, display and distribute it as part of the directory, its calendar feeds, digests and search listings, and to show it to the organization concerned. For an accepted listing that licence continues after your account is closed, without your name attached.
5. Organizations and their editors
When a claim is approved, the claimant becomes the page's owner and may add editors. Editors are responsible for the accuracy of what the organization publishes, including events, expected-presence settings and QR codes they print. Feedback from attendees is shown only to the organization's editors and must not be republished with the attendee's name. Reach and follower numbers are shown to editors as aggregate counts.
6. QR codes and calendars
QR codes generated on EasyOrg link to EasyOrg pages. Organizations may print and display them. Calendar feeds contain only public event details and may be subscribed to freely; redistributing them with your own branding is fine, scraping the directory wholesale is not.
7. Availability and changes
During the pilot we may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice for material changes but cannot guarantee uptime or data retention. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyOrg is provided without warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the pilot service, including reliance on a listing, event time or venue that turns out to be wrong.
